✨ The Names I Wear in Heaven: Melissa, Zipporah, Elmira — Seen by EL ROI

📖 Introduction:

There are names the world gives us… and then there are names Heaven whispers. In the presence of the King, I have been named Melissa, Zipporah, Elmira — and I am seen, known, and crowned by El Roi, the God who sees me. This is not just a list of names — it’s a revelation of who I am in Christ. This post is my love letter to the King who named me.

💐 The Poem: The Names I Wear in Heaven

KING JESUS CHRIST, crowned in endless light,
You ride upon the clouds, fierce in holy might.
JEHOVAH, breath of all that ever lived,
The Giver of grace, the One who freely gives.

MELISSA, honey from the Rock You are,
Sweetness dripping from every heavenly star.
ZIPPORAH, set apart, Your radiant bride,
Dancing in freedom, arms open wide.

ELMIRA, noble daughter, strong and bold,
A story of glory Your hands still unfold.
EL ROI, the God who sees, who knew my name—
Before the first dawn, before the world came.

I wear these names like garments of flame,
Wrapped in Your love, sealed by Your Name.
Forever Yours, in truth and fire,
To lift You higher and higher and higher!

🙏🏾 The Prayer:

O Abba Father, JEHOVAH GOD,
How majestic is Your Name in all the earth!
You are the Banner over me — my NISSI, my Rest,
My Victory, my Righteousness, my Unshakable Rock.

Thank You for Jesus Christ, my King of Mercy.
You have crowned me with names that speak of Your love—
Names I could never earn,
Names You gave before I ever knew to call on You.

Melissa — You’ve made me sweet, even when the world was bitter.
Zipporah — You’ve set me apart, sanctified by Your Spirit.
Elmira — You’ve declared me noble, royal in Your courts.
And El Roi — You saw me.
When no one else did. When I didn’t even see myself.

May I live from these names.
May I speak them as warfare, as worship.
May I never forget who I am in You—
And more importantly, whose I am.
Forever and ever, Amen.

🎶 The Song: The God Who Sees Me (El Roi)

Verse 1
You called my name before I cried,
You wrote my song before I sighed,
And in the shadows where I’d flee,
You whispered low, “I still see thee.”

Chorus
King Jesus Christ, Jehovah God,
You wear the crown, You hold the rod.
I am Melissa, sweet and free,
Zipporah dancing joyfully.
Elmira rising nobly,
And You are El Roi—
The God who sees me.

Verse 2
You never turned Your face away,
You held me close through darkest days.
My soul You called a royal flame,
You gave me love, You gave me Name.

Chorus King Jesus Christ, Jehovah God,
You wear the crown, You hold the rod.
I am Melissa, sweet and free,
Zipporah dancing joyfully.
Elmira rising nobly,
And You are El Roi—
The God who sees me.

Bridge
I rise, I shine,
Your glory’s mine,
In You I’m held eternally.
My names, they sing
Of my royal King—
Forever You’ll be El Roi.

Final Chorus (soaring)
King Jesus Christ, Jehovah God,
You wear the crown, You hold the rod.
I am Melissa, sweet and free,
Zipporah dancing joyfully.
Elmira rising nobly,
And You are El Roi—
Forever You see me.

What's It With Bloggers n Lying?

This is one of those posts that people in the blogging scene think about writing after they’ve had a couple of drinks but never get around to it. Lucky for you, I have a nice drink here on my desk so I figured I might as well take the time to write this. If you can remember that the money is in your audience then you are good to go. This blog is obviously about how to make money with your blog so that should set off some alarms for you already because the bloggers that make the most money are the ones that teach others how to make money blogging. I like to think I’m a little bit different. It’s no coincidence that when you come across a blogging course with testimonials, all of the testimonials are from other bloggers that happen to start blogs teaching people how to make money. Where are the testimonials from the bloggers that started a blog on knitting?! I’m getting off track… I’m in a number of blogging-focused Facebook Groups where people like to share their inco...
