How To Introduce Yourself

One of the simplest brain teasing question is "Tell me something about you". Being one of the top interview question that has gulped the careers of many, this question involves deep self-analysis. Though, this question might seem simple on the first look but is actually a thinker. "First impression" is the very last impression", they say & I strongly agree to it. A simple 2 minutes of an introductory session can tell a lot about a persons personality and behaviour. Self introductory requires deep analysis which is actually quite interesting. In this fast moving world, we forget to give ourselves a couple of moments free in a day which results into a separation of one's self from his/her soul. A great self introduction has mainly two objectives; Positive and Simple.  Apart from one's speaking skill and hand guestures, physical movement are also noticed and play a key role in judgement about the personality. Through this article we will get to know how to introduce ourselves better. Let us check out:

Pay attention to what you are saying and always be formal about job interviews. Remember, your personality says alot about you. In a nutshell, Job interviews are a lot dependent on how you present your self to the interviewers.

1. Do You Know Yourself? - Test It

A simple game will help you find out how much you know about yourself. According to the rules of this game, you will have to mention 10 qualities that you think you have in 30 seconds. If you get to spend more time thinking then you need to work more on your self analysis. You can also take a diary and make notes of it to have a crystal clear image. Once you are through with the results, show it to your friends and family and get thier honest opinion about it. In short to describe what you really are, you would have to think about yourself in great depth which in reality is pretty much doable.

2. Pay Attention To Your Gestures:

It wont matter if you speak nice but your hands are shaking. Remember, your first impression are very much important and therefore you would have to focus on each and every part of it. A long smile, occasional nods and a firm hand shake go a long in making a tremendous first impression. Also remember, you don't have to overdo everything mentioned or else everything can get messed up too.

Your Honest Opinion To An Idealistic Pessimist

3. Keep Your Introduction Concise:

You cannot go ya-ya and not choose to listen to what other is saying. Make sure that your introduction is simple and short and not a whole life description. Introduce with your name, age and then move to generalized things like specifying hobbies and then aims in life. Never trigger a topic which is controversial and debated as it can make you look look needy. Put on a smile while you are talking so that it does not not look plain and crammed.

4. Be Ready For Follow Up Questions:

If you are asked some follow up questions then consider it to be a good start for introduction. But wait, it has not ended yet. While you are preparing for your introduction,  you must make sure that you prepare for all the follow up questions about yourself.  The key here is to be honest! Do not brag unnecessary things and you will be just fine. The truth is easier to explain and you wont get stuck up on any follow up question this way.

5. Be Confident:

Its okay if you make mistakes, you are just a human and not an answering machine. If such case happen all you have to do is accept your mistake gracefully and move on. Don't think much about it else you will mess up. Also, as mentioned earlier you will have to put on a bold smile as it depicts confidence. All in all, your confidence is the main thing that will determine the quality of your introduction. Being a little nervous at first is okay but try to move past it.

✨ The Names I Wear in Heaven: Melissa, Zipporah, Elmira — Seen by EL ROI

📖 Introduction: There are names the world gives us… and then there are names Heaven whispers. In the presence of the King, I have been named Melissa , Zipporah , Elmira — and I am seen, known, and crowned by El Roi , the God who sees me. This is not just a list of names — it’s a revelation of who I am in Christ. This post is my love letter to the King who named me. 💐 The Poem: The Names I Wear in Heaven KING JESUS CHRIST , crowned in endless light, You ride upon the clouds, fierce in holy might. JEHOVAH , breath of all that ever lived, The Giver of grace, the One who freely gives. MELISSA , honey from the Rock You are, Sweetness dripping from every heavenly star. ZIPPORAH , set apart, Your radiant bride, Dancing in freedom, arms open wide. ELMIRA , noble daughter, strong and bold, A story of glory Your hands still unfold. EL ROI , the God who sees, who knew my name— Before the first dawn, before the world came. I wear these names like garments of flame, Wrapp...

Rest from Your Works — Step Into His

  > “For the one who has entered His rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from His.” — Hebrews 4:10 (NASB) There’s a kind of rest that can’t be found in a weekend, a nap, or a getaway. I’m talking about God’s rest — the kind that changes everything. Two years ago, I began walking in something deeper than just belief. I stepped into rest. Hebrews 4:10 came alive to me, not as a theory, but as a lived reality: > “He that has entered His rest has also ceased from his own works, just as God did from His.” I stopped trying to earn what Jesus already finished. I stopped relying on my efforts to feel worthy, accepted, or “used by God.” And in that surrender, I found something greater than I ever expected: peace. Let me tell you — this rest is real. I feel it deep in my heart. It's profound, and it’s available to you too. Maybe you’ve been striving. Trying to be better, holier, more faithful. Maybe you’re exhausted from carrying a weight you weren’t meant to hold. ...

What's It With Bloggers n Lying?

This is one of those posts that people in the blogging scene think about writing after they’ve had a couple of drinks but never get around to it. Lucky for you, I have a nice drink here on my desk so I figured I might as well take the time to write this. If you can remember that the money is in your audience then you are good to go. This blog is obviously about how to make money with your blog so that should set off some alarms for you already because the bloggers that make the most money are the ones that teach others how to make money blogging. I like to think I’m a little bit different. It’s no coincidence that when you come across a blogging course with testimonials, all of the testimonials are from other bloggers that happen to start blogs teaching people how to make money. Where are the testimonials from the bloggers that started a blog on knitting?! I’m getting off track… I’m in a number of blogging-focused Facebook Groups where people like to share their inco...
